Hudson is such a riot!...I just love him so much; he cracks me up!Let me tell you why...
Shep and I were so anxious to pick Hud up from his first day of Kindergarten. We waited in the carpool line for 30 minutes and finally the moment arrives, Hudson runs to the car with a huge grin on his face. I am relieved, it looks like he has enjoyed his first day. He gets in the car and I ask him to tell me all about his first day. He says, "Mom, you know what? My school has a KITCHEN!!! Did you know that you can walk through line, tell them what you want, they give you free food and then they tell you to "move on".!" He is just so excited that he can barely contain himself. He then says, "Mom, I don't want you to pack my lunch anymore, ok?"
I proceeded to ask him if he liked his teacher, if he made any friends, what they did in school, at recess, etc...and all of those questions were ignored and each time he repeated by telling me how the kitchen was THE COOLEST thing that happened at school today. Man, had I known that he would have gotten so excited over cafeteria food, Cody and I would have taken him to Luby's a long time ago!
