Cody is such a fabulous Daddy! Thank you, Jesus for the wonderful husband and father that he is; we are so blessed. He never spends any of his days off doing what he wants to do; all he ever wants to do is "spend it with the kids". This is an example of a typical day off with Daddy....this was our day today...
- Cody went and had lunch with Hud as school. As you can see from the pic, they were both so excited! (I stayed home and played Dinosaurs with Shep while Cody had special one on one time at lunch with Hud).
- Cody then came home to teach Shep a little about the game of T-Ball in our front yard. (His first T-Ball practice is tomorrow morning).
- We went to pick up Hud from school and then came home to a surprise from Cody....brand new fishing poles! As you can tell from the pictures, who needs a lake to go fishing?? We named this, "STREET FISHING". Just use your imagination! Have you guys ever tried to go fishing in your neighborhood street? It was a total blast. The boys were out there for hours learning how to cast a line. It was the best $12 we ever spent.
- We then took the boys to a cooking birthday party....we so miss our old neighbors!
- Then we completed the evening by stopping off at a local fishing pond to test out the new fishing poles....my, they work better with hot dogs as bait and a little water!
Thank you, Cody for being the World's Best Daddy...they are so blessed to have you!

Ok pack up the husband, the boys and the fishing poles and come to our house :) We live on a fantastic lake that is all OURS and the fish jump like crazy!! C'mon...whatcha waitin' for?
