Football Fun!

One of our many family fun passtimes is football with Daddy. Cody is teaching them the fine art of offense and defense, how to throw, the fine art of spiraling, how to catch and the rules of the game. It is hilarious to watch the boys when they catch the ball and run to the wrong goal, when they tackle each other. They are getting quite good but it is all in the name of fun. Making memories that will last a life time!

Cooking with Chef Shep!

One of Shep's many natural talents is cooking. He truly loves cooking. He woke up Saturday morning and said, "I want to cook breakfast for everyone and I need my apron, my hat and my rolling pin!". So, Daddy doned his own apron and away they went making cooked ham and eggs. The entire time he was cooking he kept saying, "I am Chef Shep!!!" I am praying that with Shep's good looks and talents that TLC will come a calling some day and give him his own cooking show.....I can see it now...."Cooking with Chef Shep!" If that doesn't pan out then atleast his future wife will thank us! :)

Holiday at the Park with friends....!

We had so much fun at Holiday at the Park at Six Flags! We took our friends: Kathleen and her children, Collin, Keegan, Gabe, Alex and Ian and their friends Tyler and Tollie. It was fun to see the park lit up with Christmas decor. The highlight of the trip was sleding on Snow Hill!

Christmas morning...

Christmas morning was so much fun! DoDad got up and fixed us a breakfast fit for a king....pancakes, bacon and eggs. We listened to Christmas music as we watched the boys open presents. Hud's favorite toy was a Sonic the Hedgehog action figurine. Shep's favorite was a HotWheel "loopty-loop" track. Later that afternoon, we went to our friend's house, Rich and Kathleen and spent the evening with their family for dinner. It was a truly blessed day!
All of the hussle and bussle was so much fun but let us not forget the true meaning of the day...Jesus is the reason for the season. Thank you, God for giving us the best present of all, Jesus.

Santa was here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The boys were sooooo excited this morning when they saw the "evidence" that Santa was here! There were footsteps coming from the fireplace (Hudson wants to bottle up his footsteps in a jar to keep). He ate the yummy cookies and milk. He read Hudson's letter and he left lots of gifts for 2 little boys!
Hudson's letter to Santa was so cute. He wrote in in Kindergarten..
"Dear Santa? How are you? Are your elfes keeping bussy? I hope so. Please bring me a Wii game. Have a good day. Luve, Hudson"

The Night Before Christmas....sprinkling Magic Reindeer Food on the lawn!

Roasting marshmellows with Daddy.....YUMMM!

Getting excited about the holidays! It is chilly outside and no better way to spend the evening than roasting marshmellows with Daddy!

Christmas at Mamma Pam and Pappa Johns!

This day has to be my favorite day of the Christmas season! I have always LOVED going to Mamma Pam and Pappa John's house....anytime, not just for Christmas. But, there is something magical about how they do Christmas. The tree is perfect, the food is plentiful and the gifts...oh my goodness....where do I even begin to describe them? It must take Pam all year long to shop for these 4 precious boys....Hud, Shep, AJ and Jayden. They had MOUNTAINS of gifts to open and it was so much fun watching all of them tear into thier packages. Thank you, Pam and John for making their Christmas so magical. It is something they will never forget!

Kindergarten "Holiday Party"

I got to volunteer at Hudson's Christmas Kindergarten Party. I am sorry...I know they call it a "Holiday Party" but Christ is the reason for the season so it is a "Christmas Party" to us, always. So wish we could afford private Christian schooling. But, anyway, I will stop ranting....I loved volunteering with boys boys this year. Today, I got to watch Hud make a gingerbread house and Christmas tree. It was so much fun! (Thanks, H2 for watching Shep for me so that I could attend!)

Happy Birthday, Jesus Party!

Shep's little Preschool had a "Happy Birthday, Jesus" Party in class today! They got to eat cupcakes, punch and of course sing Happy Birthday to my homeboy, Jesus. Each child made wreaths made out of their handprints and we got adorable little ornaments with their handprints on them too. Sadly, Shep dropped our ornament when we got home and it broke but we have a cool picture of it above. (I am finding that I am clinging to Shep and these days in Preschool. This will be the last year that I will have a baby in PreK...sniff....snifff... my boys are growing up too fast!) I'm cherishing it while I can.... :)

(Just realizing how DARK my natural hair color is...my blond high lights are underneath my hat!)

Shep's Crazy Hair Day at PreSchool

Shep's little Preschool class had "Crazy Hair Day". Shep loved today! He has so much fun when we get out of the bath and I towel dry his hair and make it look "crazy". We do this every bath time so he was so excited that he got to show off his crazy bath hair to his classmates. Isn't he a cutie? ! :)

I just wanted ONE good Christmas photo...is that too much to ask?

I took my boys to see Santa today; they looked so precious all dressed up. I thought, this would be a fabulous time to take their Christmas photo. Afterall, my friends have taken pictures of their children and they all look so perfect and adorable in their Hallmark Christmas cards that I am receiving in the mail. I do a family Christmas card every year and was soooo looking forward to the occasion today. I took the boys to our backyard and started shooting away...I took about 60 pictures AND THEY ALL TURNED OUT LIKE THE ONES ABOVE! I just wanted ONE good Christmas photo....is that too much to ask? Boys....hmph....I am really tempted to use the first picture with Hudson picking his nose.
