Memorial Day at The Beach Club...

We had so much fun at the beach club! We arrived at 11:00 and stayed until 4pm. They had a DJ playing all day, they gave away free Wing Stop hot wings (they were delicious) and the kids swam and built sand castles all day. It was almost a perfect day.....the only thing to make it complete would have been to have Daddy here with us. Can't wait till he comes home from Alabama on Wednesday. We miss you and love you, Daddy!

K-Dizzle is sooo much fun!!

Cousin K-K is so much fun to play with! We just love her!!!

Sprinkler Fun!!!

Cheap entertainment!!! (We need a pool!)

Proud of our new Kindergartner!

JJ and Mommy giving Shep a big hug after graduation ceremony! He kept saying, "I am a Kindergartner now!".

Waiting for the diploma....

I am officially no longer a preschooler!!!! He has the diploma to prove it!

The teachers took the kids personalities in class and predicted what the children would be when they grew up.....they said that Shep would be a Future Ontomologist....an expert on bugs. So true!!! That was funny! He was the only kid that would bring his butterfly experiment, his worms, his rolley polleys etc...to show and tell. I love it...he is all boy!

Slide Show during graduation

Ok, I may have gotten a little misty eyed during the slide show but I held it together. It didn't help that they had this incredible singer singing about our babies growing up so fast... Here are the slides of Shep and his best little buddy, Luke. They have been buds since they were less than a month old. Sad to think that they won't be in school together anymore....but maybe that is a good thing?

Graduation Performance...

Singing for the audience at Graduation.....

My baby is graduating PreK today!!!

I cannot believe that my little Shep is graduating Preschool today! I am so not ready for my baby to grow up!!! (Picture me digging my heals into the ground). But, it was a joyous day today. Sadly, Cody was on a plane headed Eastbound to close another bank down, thus the reason I am putting the pics up on the blog for him to enjoy.

Shep was quite the funny man as he walked down the aisle.....all parents were all smiles with cameras flashing and Shep smiles from ear to ear as his picture is being taken and says REALLY LOUD......"oooooooo.....baby!!". Of course it got a lot of laughs and he does it again one more time. That little stinker....he is so cute!

Rub a dub dub....2 cuties in a tub!

Happiest Day of the Entire Year for me!!!!!

Oh, Mother's Day...it is absolutely, my most favorite day of the year! It is better than Christmas, better than my birthday; I just love it! It use to be such a painful holiday for me during my infertile years of trying to conceive but now it is such a joyful, blessing from God....my two miracles.

Cody and the boys went all out to make my day a special one and I am so thankful. My boys made me handmade cards that I will cherish forever. Cody got me a panoramic picture frame; I have always wanted one and am so excited! But, the best gift of all was from Cody. He took our video cassettes and had them converted into DVD cd's!!! Thank you, babe! I will treasure those!!

Love to watch them sleep...

Just precious angels to me.....love watching them sleep. I love that that have this humongous room and that they prefer to sleep in the same twin bed, along with the dog, all together. No wonder they are so close and protective of one another.

Muffins with Mom at Shep's PreK....

My heart is all aglow....celebrating Mom's day with my special little man. Katy and I got to go have "Muffins with Mom" and see all of the great master pieces that Shep made for me. I got his little footprint and hand print in a frame. The high light was his questionnaire that he filled out about me.....

My Moms name is...."Heather"
She is special because......"she loves God". (aww, that is priceless)
I like it when she....."makes me cookies".
My Mom can do many things. I think she is best at.....cooking. (I obviously have him fooled).
I like to make my Mom smile by......"giving her a surprise".
My Mom is as pretty as......"God". (Speechless on that one but then again, I was "invisible" in high school)
My Mom is so smart! She even knows......"her ABC's". (that is hysterical....I didn't go to college for nuttin')
I like to tell my Mom....."I love you."

Meet Stewart!

Meet Stewart! Isn't he cute? This is what happens when we are on our way to the Cub Scout store and it is closed. And, wouldn't you know it....the Cub Scout store is right next to Pets Mart. We are such suckers....there is no way we can walk into that store with our two boys and not leave with some varmit. But, I have to admit, "Stewart" is a cutie patootie. The boys even tried to "sell" me on buying him for my Mother's Day gift...so cute that they even pulled that one. Love it!

So, welcome Stewart...you will be joining Levi, the dog and Ish the Fish, along with all of the other jars of worms, rolley polleys, lady bugs and lightning bugs that the boys keep in our glass mason jars.

My Hunka-Hunka Burnin' 40 Year Old....

My hot husband turned 40 on April 23rd! Can't believe that I am officially married to an old man now! Although...he doesn't look or act old at all. In fact, Cody has lost 30 pounds for his triumphant birthday! I didn't think he needed to lose a pound to begin with but he insisted that he did not want to be "fat and forty".

So, all of that being said....I decided to throw Cody a humongo birthday bash fit for a king! We had 70 close friends to bring in festivities and listen to Elvis perform for the evening. Margartita machine, fajitas and dancing the night away lasted until 3 in the morning! I must admit, I was a bit nervous about hiring him. There was no picture or live performance of him singing on the internet so I didn't know "what" I would be getting until he arrived. My worst fear was having a short, red headed, bot bellied Elvis show up. So you can imagine how relieved I was when this guy showed up! Even though he didn't look the spitting image; he sounded, shaked, wiggled and sang his heart out just like Elvis. He earned his money.

I hope you had a fabulous birthday, babycakes. It sure was memorable and a ton of fun!
I love you.....ST
