If you live in Texas, we have these little episodes once a year, probably. Me, having been in a serious tornado in college take these things very seriously. Cody runs to turn on the radio and TV and see that the tornado is within 10 miles of us. We run upstairs, get the boys and our dog Levi is having a major anxiety attack and sticking to us like glue. We pull everything out of our downstairs closet underneath our stairs and sit and wait out the storm. The funny thing is that the boys slept through the entire thing and never once woke up (as you can see from the picture). Luckily, we didn't see the effects of the tornado, thank you, Lord! But, the picture is priceless and quite funny, now that I look back on it all.

I love this picture. My BFF had to call me to tell me to get in the bathroom. I heard the Weather Sirens in Allen, but did not know what they were (DUH!). I turned off the TV, turned on the radio, grabbed the dogs harness and leashs and we ran into the bathroom in less than a minute I think. My dogs were totally freaked out too. It was a scary night.
