I was working in the yard last weekend chopping down one of our bushes and look what I found! A birds nest! It is amazing how we take the little things like this for granted. Shep was AMAZED by this birds nest, asking all sorts of questions on who lives in in, how did they make it, how did it get it in the bush, where do they put their groceries...etc, etc. It made me wish that we could all look through the eyes of a child and see the wonder and amazement that God has given us, even in the little things like a bird's nest. When you stop to think about it, it is quite amazing how birds carry each little scrap piece of branch and build a nest one twig at a time. Then to look inside the nest and see how it is circular and concave in shape. Simply amazing. Thanks, Shep for pointing out God's amazing little miracles and making me notice the little things...
