Our little slugger started his new season of T-ball again. He is on the Padre Team with his buddy, Cole, whom he played with last year. His first game was the Padres vs the Red Sox. Shep is a natural athlete and can hit the ball really good. He does tend to get a little side tracked by the occational bug that crawls across the dirt and will lose focus on the game for a little while. But, Cody will yell, "Game ready, Shep!" and Shep jumps to attention again and is back in the game. When he does focus, he is in it 100% and loves to slide to home base. He took a running slide to home and slid a good 5 feet....just a few feet away from Home. But, all of the parents and coaches clapped and cheered on our little champ! He came home and did replays of his slide on our wooden floor....he was very proud of himself but not as proud as we were!
